Open Gardens

Each year, gardens in Redland or Cotham are opened to RCAS members and guests, usually one Sunday in June.

Sunday 15th June is this year’s date for RCAS Open Gardens

and it is in Redland North, where we last visited in 2020.

For those who have not participated in the past, this is a lovely community event, a great opportunity for a pleasant stroll, to meet the locals, and perhaps to get some gardening tips or inspiration!

At this time we are looking for people in Redland North to open their gardens; please let the open gardens team know if you would like to open your garden, on rcasopengardens@gmail.com . A variety of different gardens are needed, lots of plants, a great outdoor living space, fantastic play area, biodiversity haven or ?? There will be a special tour on the Saturday for garden openers, so you won’t miss out.

If you aren’t sure, get in touch to discuss, we can visit and discuss without obligation/commitment.

This is a community event and all gardens are welcome, access permitting. There is no charge for visitors, however, contributions to the nominated charity of garden openers where refreshments are offered are, of course, welcome.

The programme for Open gardens will be in the May 2025 issue of this newsletter, so you can take it around with you on the day to show you are an RCAS member.
